Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, Maui

This was one of the most amazing wedding I have done this year!  Lauren and Kevin, came to Maui after plans for their wedding in Peru fell through.  Next the plans for Scotland were a bust, legalities over getting married in a castle and some technical paperwork.  They finally came to Maui to have a intimate ceremony in a very remote location.

Maui Weddings By Dawn got all the details event dialed in.  That's where Blue Hawaiian Helicopters took over. The private Helicopter charter took Lauren, Kevin, Myself, the Videographer, and the Minister, via Helicopter for a tour of Maui, and landed us in a breath taking location within the Ranch.

The timing of the Flight, and Ceremony were amazing, and to top it off, the return flight back to the Heliport we were given arial views of the sunset!

Xterra World Championships 2008, Makena, Maui

Here are some images from Yesterdays Xterra World Championships In Makena, Maui. I really enjoy shooting the event because of there are so many emotions from the competitors who take on the grueling Maui course.

The Faces of the Xterra

I really like this shot.  The numbers on the athletes legs represents the age division of each competitor. Regardless of age, the course is the same!

This photo really show how hard the race is.  Even the Pro's have their struggles.

The New Macbook and MacBook Pro

Finally, the new versions of the Macbook and Macbook Pro are available.  Have been waiting for these for some time so we can replace our mac laptops with faster and ore features computers.  You can view all the pictures and specs at Apples site.

Photography at the Summit Workshop, Jackson Hole, Wyoming

What a week!  The summit workshop was definitely a great place to become inspired.  I loved the time in the field shooting athletes and lifestyle images until my memory cards were full.  If you get the chance to join next years workshop, I highly recommend it.

ATT Park & the Embarcadero, San Francisco

Here are some recent images from my portrait session in San Francisco.  Michelle and Alexis had know each other for many years before the Giants opening day game in 2007.  This time around sparks flew, and a relationship was born. When Michelle contacted us to do a shoot in the city, we felt it was necessary to not only do a few shots of the Embarcadero and the beautiful Bay Bridge, but to work some magic and get a chance to shoot in ATT Park!  The ball park was a fitting  choice for this couple who are "two peas in a pod" when it comes to Giants Baseball.  

Thanks Michelle and Alexis, for such a fun afternoon and dinner.  Can't wait for the Napa wedding in the spring!
